If you’re a Heroes nut and don’t already own every edition of the official magazine, this full-colour book is pretty much a must-buy. It includes interviews with all key cast members, including Masi Oka (Hiro) and Hayden Panettiere (Claire) and loads of behind-the-scenes pictures, all broken down into small, bite-size chunks.

The opening chapter spreads are exciting and interesting, and the copy is engaging and just the right level of geeky. Perhaps best of all is the inclusion of the awesome Tim Sale artwork, which was featured on the show in the form of Isaac Mendez’s prophetic paintings.

If you’re not a massive fan of the show then you’re probably not even reading this; but if you are, this contains everything you need to know about Heroes and a lot more besides. Melissa Doyle
