RPG action incorporating the world of Disney…

Mixing elements from the Disney franchise with all new characters and an intriguing storyline, the latest in the Kingdom Hearts series is the first for the Nintendo DS and the first with multiplayer function.

The plot ties in with Kingdom Hearts II, as you experience events that unfold at the same time of that game’s narrative. It’s not necessary to have played part II, but it’s a nice way of creating continuity for long-term fans.

There’s a lot to do here. The combination of story missions, optional missions, challenge missions, and the Mission Mode means that it is unlikely you’ll finish the game in a hurry. There is treasure to collect, high scores to beat and challenging time attacks, while the mission-based nature of the game suits the Nintendo DS perfectly. Jonathan Wilkins

This is the perfect game to pick up during an idle moment on a bus or a train.
