Gothic ghost story The Woman in Black is the biggest film yet from the revitalised Hammer Films (whose variable output has so far consisted of Beyond the Rave, Let Me In, The Resident and Wake Wood).
Based on the Susan Hill novel – which was previously filmed as a creepy TV movie in 1989, and was also the basis for the long-running stage show – the movie sees a young lawyer (Daniel Radcliffe) heading to a remote mansion to tie up the affairs of a deceased woman, only to be haunted by a woman in black – and by the legacy of the local village.
The movie, directed by James Watkins (Eden Lake), isn’t out until 10 February 2012, so you’ll have to make do with the new teaser trailer for now…
