Warner Bros have revealed the costume for Adrianne Palicki’s new Wonder Woman – and inevitably it’s already causing some controversy.

In place of the hot pants, red boots and Stars & Stripes of Lynda Carter’s version of the Amazon superhero, the new Wonder Woman has blue boots, skintight trousers and no American flag, as you can see from the picture below.

Superhero costumes can often look rather like a fancy dress party outfit out of context, so we’ll reserve judgement for now.

No broadcast date has yet been confirmed for David E. Kelley’s Wonder Woman pilot.
