After compiling nominations from around the world, the Eagle Awards have announced their 2011 shortlist.

The top five nominees in each of the 29 categories is now going forward to the public vote. Categories include Favourite Writer, Favourite Artist (both Pencils and Inks), Favourite Newcomer, Favourite Editor and too many others for us to list here!

Voting closes at midnight on Monday 11 April, and the winners will be announced on Friday 27 May at the MCM Expo London Comic-Con.
