“The most controversial film of the year” is a phrase that’s thrown around rather a lot these days, but, well, there’s no doubting the most controversial film of the last year: A Serbian Film.

Srdjan Spasojevic’s movie has been acclaimed and reviled in equal measure, and was pulled from London’s FrightFest earlier this year after the BBFC refused to allow the uncut version to be shown.

UK viewers with strong stomachs can finally see what the fuss is about when the film arrives on region 2 DVD and Blu-ray on 3 January 2011.

Cult Labs have designed a special site for the film which you can view at: www.cult-labs.com/aserbianfilm

You can also buy tickets to the London premiere (with the director and producer in attendance) on 25 November 2010 at:
