A Back To The Future videogame is currently in the works from Telltale Games.
The videogame was announced back in June alongside a Jurassic Park title, but it is only now that more details have been released.
The game series will include the likenesses of Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd, who played Marty McFly and Doc Brown in the original film trilogy. Lloyd will lend his voice to the character he portrayed, though it is unknown if Fox will do the same. Bob Gale, who wrote the screenplays for the film trilogy is also on board to work with the game developers on the five “episode” plot.
Telltale Games also confirmed that the DeLorean time machine and the fictional California setting of Hill Valley would appear in the games, which will include additional characters from the movies. An element of the game will be set in the time period 1985, the year in which the “present day” of the films is set.
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Back To The Future, the first film will be re-released in UK cinemas for a short period from October 1. The 25th Anniversary Back To The Future Trilogy Blu-Ray will be released on October 25.
