Arrow Video are releasing new DVD editions of Lamberto Bava’s gore-soaked 1985 classic Demons and its 1986 sequel. As well, as being stuffed with extras, the Demons DVD comes with a comic book of Demons 3!

The two-part comic is set in plague-ridden 16th Century France, and sees Nostradamus trying to stop the Demons entering our world. The comic is written by Stefan Hutchinson and Barry Keating, with artwork by Jeff Zornow and Marcus Smith.

Other DVD extras on Demons include recollections by Lamberto Bava, an interview with producer Dario Argento, and a chat about the history of Italian horror with Luigi Cozzi (Starcrash). There’s also a collector’s booklet and a double-sided poster.

Demons DVD and Demons 2 region 2 DVDs will be released later in 2010. Release dates are currently tbc.
