Last week a new Transformers Comic iPhone app was launched by Titan Comics. The app allows users to read the comic on their iPhone, downloading new strips every few weeks.

The app also has Transformers trivia about the characters, movies and the comics themselves.

The first strips include a story called Optimus Prime, which was written by Simon Furman and with artwork by Geoff Senior (Judge Dredd, Dr Who and 2000AD).

Fuller said of the project, "The stories, written by me and drawn by a host of old and new Transformers artists, bring the movie characters to life as never before, and now they can be seen as never before! So get ready for tales of Cybertron and Earth that spotlight your favourite characters... and probably a few you know only by name... beamed direct to your iPhone."

This digital comic is a free service, available in the UK and Eire only. You can download it here or on the iTunes App Store.
