FlashForward actor and Lost alumnus Dominic Monaghan has said that while there are similarities to be drawn between the ABC shows, FlashForward’s story will probably unfold faster than on the Lost drama.

Speaking to London paper Metro, Monaghan said, "FlashForward is a hit so it is [similar] in a way. It's different to Lost. It's based in the real world so it differs in that regard.”

"I wonder if this show will unfold quicker, it might not be around for six years. In which case, the fans might be more satisfied with the pace of it all,” he continued.

Monaghan played Charlie Pace in the island-based drama, who was killed off at the end of season four. He’s now starring in FlashForward as Simon, whose debut episode (Black Swan) aired this week.
