With filming on the two hour pilot episode underway in Vancouver, Sci Fi Channel has released details on the full cast of Stargate Universe, the new spin-off in the long-running franchise.
Joining the previously announced Robert Carlyle, Justin Louis, David Blue, Jamil Walker Smith and Brian J. Smith is Che's Lou Diamond Phillips as Colonel Telford, the leader of the ill-fated expedition caught on board the ancient Starship, Destiny. Described as "stubbornly confident", he is a lifelong military man.
ER's Ming-Na portrays Camille Wray, a human resources executive with the Stargate oversight committee, who finds herself stranded with the group of military and civilian survivors, displaying a "misguided sense of superiority" over them.
Painkiller Jane's Alaina Huffman is Master Sergeant Tamara Johansen, who becomes the Destiny's de facto doctor, despite her lack of experience. Elyse Levesque will star as senator's daughter Chloe Armstrong, a politically savvy youngster with a wild side.
