SALEM, NH, Booth 4836 will be Supernatural Exclusive Central at the 2009 San Diego Comic-Con this month.

CineQuest.com, manufacturer of Supernatural minibusts and a leading online pop culture retailer, is releasing an unprecedented four Comic-Con exclusives at the July 23-26 San Diego pop culture convention.

“We wanted to have some fun and offer different Supernatural items for the fans who show up in San Diego,” the New Hampshire-based company’s president Mark Del Vecchio said this week. “We know they are there to see the panels and the stars but we figured we’d give them four reasons to stop in to see us at CineQuest.com.”

A Supernatural panel discussion is scheduled for Sunday, July 26 at the huge convention that annually draws more than 120,000 visitors from around the world.

At Booth #4836, CineQuest.com will be offering the following Supernatural exclusives, all of which are limited editions:

SDCC Exclusive Supernatural Official Magazine #11 ($10):
This variant cover is limited to 1,000 copies and marks the first-ever wraparound cover for the fan magazine. It features Sam & Dean Winchester and a photo collage of their family, friends and allies.

Limited to 250 pieces, this 7.5” minibust features Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Amber Benson as vampire Lenore with her game face on from the ‘Bloodlust’ episode of The CW’s hit series Supernatural. It marks a great chance for Buffy fans to see Tara as a vampire!

“For us, the Lenore minibust brings together two of our favorite shows of all time: Supernatural and Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” Del Vecchio said. “We get to show Buffy fans what Amber Benson would look like as a vampire!” Benson, who portrayed Tara Maclay in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, had a memorable role as a good vampire in the ‘Bloodlust’ episode of Supernatural.

The number of exclusives sold each day will be limited to ensure that attendees coming on any of the days of the convention will have the chance to buy them. Attendees can buy in advance at CineQuest.com and pick up their exclusives at CineQuest.com’s Booth 4836 from July 23-26. A limited number of the exclusives also are reserved for non-attendees who can order now and have the items shipped to them after the show.

“We wanted to give fans a chance to own these exclusives even though they won’t be making the trek to San Diego for the convention,” Del Vecchio said. “We’re all fans ourselves and each of us here has been shut out of a convention exclusive that we really wanted to complete our collections. This way, everyone gets the chance to own one.”

CineQuest.com has produced, under license from Warner Bros. Consumer Products, collectibles from Supernatural and Veronica Mars. It also produced a limited edition Buffy the Vampire Slayer calendar under license from 20th Century Fox.
