Each Star Trek captain has their own distinct qualities. Kirk is heroic, humorous and something of a ladies’ man. Picard is erudite, rational and shrewd. Sisko is angrier and more bitter but no less brave. Janeway is uncompromising and determined to get her crew home. And Archer is a peacemaker and pioneer with an unfettered love of adventure.

But which of these mighty captains is the people’s favourite? With the upcoming release of JJ Abrams’ reboot of Star Trek, we thought this was the perfect time for readers to vote and let us know.
