John Hicklenton was the influential British artist famous for his work on 2000AD, Judge Dredd and Nemesis the Warlock.
In 2000 he was diagnosed with MS, and in 2008 chose to end his life at Dignitas, aged 42. His life became the subject of the Animal Monday documentary, Here’s Johnny, which went on to win two Grierson awards.
On 18 March, Hicklenton's final masterwork, the highly acclaimed 100 Months, will be released by Cutting Edge Press in a new eBook edition, featuring audio interviews with Hicklenton and 2000AD’s Pat Mills, concept drawings and artwork from his unfinished graphic novel.
